Erica MK II

Erica MK II is a 2-way back horn loaded loudspeaker system fully designed, hand crafted, and
manufactured in Italy with optimum design and finishing.  The 5 ¼" woofer is an Aliante custom
made product for the Erica.  The woofer delivers a 97 dB efficiency with high velocity and dynamic response.   The custom-designed phase reversal triple folded back loaded horn enables a simple in-room placement, delivering an extremely extended low frequency response.  Also the soft dome tweeter and high-pass filter constitutes a simple first order crossover network, the best solution to offer a minimum phase shift with respect to the crossoverless woofer. The choice of no crossover on the woofer and 6 dB/octave slope on the tweeter filter avoids different time delays between fundamentals and harmonics on complex music signals, reproducing the music program as real as the source is.  The woofer bandwidth rolls off -6dB at 12 KHz, for a full audio band direct radiation with none of the midrange compression nasality associated with front-loaded horns.  The components used are first class,  as are the new generation Aliante AudioCap PPFF custom made capacitors.
